"I've been attending C.M.W for three years now, and Ive fallen in love with the Canadian music scene. I always do my panel on songwriting and production with Glen Ballard, (Alanis M. Michael Jackson) and we are honored to spread our knowledge and luck with our fellow writer/producer friends. BUT.... The best part of the week for me is to hit the streets and hear the new, great music that's happening in Canada. Im a rock guy (Aerosmith, Ozzy, Ringo Starr) so Glen and I checked out about ten bands and one artist stood out to me....RUTHIE LAMB. Ive heard her music before, but I think now she's ready to be a Big star. She has worked on her craft to the point where she rocked my world! The songwriting was great. She is a girl who's not afraid to say what's on her mind or in her heart, and that was a huge step. The band was tight and kicked butt, and Ruthie sang her own songs as if they already sold millions. Her confidence and stage presence blew me away. And if I could be a "fan" and a "man" for a moment.....She was nice on the eyes too! In other words, the whole package was happening. She can only get better, and I know she will. Ive already asked to write with her, because I would bring my "Aerosmith" chops to her, and I think the world needs a female Steven Tyler, and she just might fit in .....(minus the lips) Anyway, I love C.M.W and ....Ruthie Lamb".
Peace, Mark Hudson

"A two-song demo landed on my desk recently by this unknown Hamilton-born singer. It left me wondering why this talented country/rock/pop artist hadn't been picked up by a big label long ago. Patience. It won't be long. Ruthie has a sound that will knock your socks off. Check out the song City of Lost Souls on our online Best Bets ( www.thespec.com). "I've known Ruthie for many years and have been to her shows here in Toronto. I've also featured her on 680 News she is without a doubt one of Canada's most outstanding performers, male or female. Her shows are always high energy and entertaining and her music is raw and sensual. She's one of Canada's best kept secrets and it's time Canadians discover this talented artist. I support Ruthie Lamb because if there's anyone who deserves to be recognized it’s her!"

"I had the pleasure of meeting Ruthie Lamb in June 2004 at her first " Ride For Sight" performance. We quoted her performance in our newsletter as "The crowd was right, Ruthie Rocks, 98 pounds of dynamite". When she performed in 2005, it was in front of 2000 people as a featured performer with headliners the Road Hammers and she wowed them again.
Ruthie has an undeniable talent and star quality. In a public venue, she captivates all listeners. She truly deserves the chance to have Canada hear her voice and see her outstanding performance. I support Ruthie in her career. This girl can rock!!"
